'71 BB Suburban 3/4 ton for sale, HEAVILY optioned
For sale, 1971 Chevy Custom/20 Deluxe BB suburban 3-door, rear hatch and tailgate setup, no barn doors. 8 lug wheels. Originally white and medium olive, now is a darker green. The new paint job was a quick one that didn't touch the interior, so a change back to meduim olive would be easy. FACTORY Options include....
Bucket seats Scroll pattern white interior AM/FM stereo!! Tinted glass Overhead AC!! 396 Big Block Power Steering Power Brakes Posi rear end The burban does not have the AM/FM radio, front buckets, or the big block in it. The dash is uncut, and someone transplanted a 6-cyl into it which runs. I don't know if it's a 250 or 292 or what. The fender emblems read 8-400 and Custom/20 Deluxe, and the options sheet shows a factory BB among other things. The overhead AC is complete and in great shape. This suburban is VERY solid as you can see in the pictures. The doors open and close well, the rear hatch and gate move great. The rear floor from the rear seat back is very solid. The front floors are solid as well, but do have surface rust and may need attention, really haven't looked into it that much. The rear hatch has 2 small blisters in the paint. The drivers outer door handle is broken, and must be opened from inside, and both front doors have the old vise grip window crank setup. All interior and exterior trim is present and in great shape, the grille and hood are near perfect. All of the lines on this suburban are straight and true, it's just an old unrestored suburban with MANY very rare and desireable options. If someone who has a set of buckets, an AM/FM radio and were to drop a big block into this suburban, you would have one rare suburban in great shape. If you've got any questions, please ask. I do have a couple more pics than what's attached if interested. $2,000 obo (sorry, had mistakenly put in 2500....price is 2000) Last edited by VTKidder; 09-25-2003 at 08:56 AM. |

If I told you, I'd have to kill you. The burb isn't mine. I'm helping a friend sell it.
It's actually located in southern NH....tempting, isn't it? |
