Late model OEM wheels on 1971 K10?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience trying to fit a late model rim on a 4x4? I'd really like to find and put the 5 spoke Suburban rims on my truck and I'm sure there will be an issue with the hub. I was thinking I could get the hubs and caps machined to accept the old manual hubs. Thanks for the help.

The backspacing is off quite a bit. The new wheels will be sucked in too far.

Re: Late model OEM wheels on 1971 K10?
i have seen mid-90's rallies with the "different" plastic cap on some 71/72s and they looked pretty nice. they do take a bit of mod to go from metric to std, I think. but I agree with 71swb - these would look like roller skates unless spaced outboard, and I'm never really a big fan of spacers.
