This life was a test. It was only a test. If this had been an actual life, you would have received instructions on where to go and what to do.

I tried that and it doesn't work.... Every time you turn the key on it changes into a hulking monster gas guzzling truck...

Re: I found the key for great gas mileage!

I thought this was going to be about another truck stuck in body shop he!!,like Flashed's. Pretty funny, though. I always wondered how a compass helped all that much. Don't you pretty much have to go whatever way the road goes? If a N/S road takes a bend East, don't you also have to bend East? I guess they'd help if you were totally disoriented, but how often, creating the need to mount a compass? It's like admitting you're a dingbat or a total accessory freak!

It was all sarcasm specialK. I have lived in the same city for 20 years and couldn't get lost here if someone drugged me and left me for dead on any street corner.
I thought it was fascinating that the old packaging says you will save gas because you don't get lost. That's funny all by itself.
That AirWay Compass company has been out of business for decades I think.

Re: I found the key for great gas mileage!

Sorry for the hijack, but I had to share pics of my hounds.

They're both rescues that we got 18 months ago. Gibbs is the gray guy and the red one is Charlie. I'm approaching 30 (!!) years of bassets in the house.

Oh, and welcome to the board!

Re: I found the key for great gas mileage!

You guys have it all wrong. Best way to get better gas mileage is to jack the rear of your truck as high as it'll go... That way you're always driving downhill.
