Re: Tool?

I use a pair of vice grips. I also have a bezel that is all scratched to he!! along with the paint on the dash.

I've been meaning to get on of those ignition bezel tools also.

Re: Tool?

You can make a tool for the ignition bezel yourself for a few bucks.
Use a piece of PVC pipe that fits just inside the bezel, I believe 1 1/4"
I used a "cap" that has a hex on the end, so I can put a wrench or socket on it for grip.
Now mark the end where the 3 notches of the bezel are. They'll be 120 degrees apart, or at 12 o'clock - 4 o'clock - 8 o'clock.
Get 3 roll pins 3/32" and drill the 3 holes in the side of the PVC, near the end.
Press in the 3 pins leaving a little sticking out and you've got prongs that should fit into the bezel notches.
The hard part is drilling the 3 holes at the exact spacing.
I believe I found this information, with pictures, on this site. However, I couldn't find a link to that original post. Maybe someone can post a link for making the ignition bezel tool.
