What's this Burb worth?

I found this 72' suburban 1/2 ton on Craigslist and was wondering if you guys could maybe tell me what it's worth. Its a 91 350 crate motor with 119,000 miles and 700R4 trans that was rebuilt in 2005. Truck seems to run good other than a small exhaust leak. It was restored 12 years ago and the body has a few minor rust spots in the normal places. The body has a few scratches and dings but nothing major. Interior is clean but with normal wear and tear from 12 years of use. Truck seems to be very solid. He was asking $6,000 but has come down to $5,000. I was just wondering what yalls opinion is of the price. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: What's this Burb worth?

If the undercarriage/floors/ braces etc. are solid and there are no rust issues in the windshield frame in or out, then it certainly looks like it is worth the $5000 the owner is asking.

I agree, $5,000 isn't bad. Shoot for $4,500, but I really wouldn't feel all that bad paying $5,000 for that.

Price seems about right.

Though in the first pic the grill, and driver side head light looks all wonky.
Second pic, the fender to door gap looks like something isn't right.

All in all it's a clean and complete looking burb.

I agree w/Vectorit... something is off on the driver's side. Check that area out real good. It could just need some re-alignment, but you won't know until you scrutinize it closely. $5000 is a great price for that thing as long as the above checks out.

Re: What's this Burb worth?

I was looking about this exact burb too. That's the reason I'm over here surfing through the burb section for a change. Seems like a good price & I really like that it has a/c in rear too (even though he said it wasn't blowing cold). I WANT it, but gonna have to wait; need to finish paying off the DD first. Only $4500 left on it, so I would feel bad spending the $5k on a toy when should really pay it off first.
But then again... you just don't see these every day & at that price...
