rear wheel arch same as shortbeds??

The reason for the question is, I am considering buying some chrome wheel well fender flares, and was wondering if the blazers and shortbeds rear arches are the same?? Thanks.

Yes they are the same. Some have used short fleetside bed panels to repair their Blazer sides.

i one side of my blazer was trashed so i used the side of a pickup bed from lmc and its the same exact.

I did a quarter panel replacement on my Blazer with a junkyard truck bed side. They are not exactly the same! The front lower contour of the Blazer rear wheel arch goes straight down and meets the bottom of the pannel at about 90 degrees. On a pickup bed side, the front of the rear wheel arches is radiused from the wheel arch to the bottom of the pannel. You will need to graft the lower front portion of the Blazer wheel arches into the truck bed arches if you want an exact replication.

For the question of the wheel arches, it would say it's almost indiscernible between the two, there is a slight difference as cleskie posted. But, you should have no problem using flares made for the trucks on your Blazer.

i didn't know there was a difference. i cant tell a difference between the blazer side and truck side.
