Cool Re: Lets see trucks with tonneau covers..

I have a hard fiber glass cover on mine.

US cover in Rockhill SC. It has served me well over the past 20 some years traveling.

Mine's a Gaylord.
One of these day's I'm going to get rid of it. But I have to repaint the top of the bed from where it's worn off some of the paint.

Re: Lets see trucks with tonneau covers..

Just remember, there are bed covers and there are tonneau covers. Tonneaus covers are fabric and bed covers are hard material.

This is a tonneau cover:

Re: Lets see trucks with tonneau covers..

Here is a picture of a truck I seen at the Spokane Goodguys show last summer. This guy made his cover out of tempered glass. It looked pretty cool and have never seen anything like that. I thought I would share and hope the owner does not mind.

That's a cool cover but I'd hate to have to keep the water spots off of it!

I bet that nitros bottle gets a little warm in there as well on a hot day.

What cover is best for security and weather condition purposes? I keep my '67 SWB outside on the driveway.

The Pace Edwards shown above is water tight and and it is really strong. I put locks on the inside of the tailgate so there is no way in without the remote or destroying the cover. There is a hidden release just in case the power fails.

Re: Lets see trucks with tonneau covers..

I love the Pace Edwards covers, my last 72' had a Full Metal Jack Rabbit (same as above w/o the electric operation, also has a smaller canister up front) I never had a problem with it over about 7-8 years. They hold up really well, drain water outside the bed and are lockable, just not cheap!
