Re: LED Tail light blinker not working

Have you checked the bulb in the front? If that is not working the rear will not work.

Don't have front blinkers at the moment. The wires for them were cut a while back.

Re: LED Tail light blinker not working

When I had the rock-a-billy (my black truck), I used to roll without the hood.

I ran resisters with my LEDs to get them to flash.

However, you mentioned you have NO front indicators as well, but one does work ?

Sounds like you might have a turn signal switch issue.

What happens with brake applied, and left turn engaged ?

Re: LED Tail light blinker not working

I've had intermittant turn signal issues with both my current 65 and my old 63, and both were fixed by just sanding down the light sockets and screw connections to get the ground good and solid. On both trucks the brake lights "seemed" to work fine, but the turn signals were flaky.

Come to think of it though, I eventually replaced the turn signal switch in both trucks as well... but I would still try fixing the connections first, it's much cheaper.

Re: LED Tail light blinker not working

@Cheif; the front signals are not connected at the moment. The driver rear turn signal works perfectly, the passenger rear does not. On the dash, the passenger signal will turn a dim green when the switch is activated, but will never fully turn green.

@billd; these buckets are brand new as well. I'll give the sanding a shot though.

Re: LED Tail light blinker not working

That is a ground issue, most of us have run a ground wire from both rear tail light buckets to the cab, problem fixed.
