best way to raise my wood to clear a step notch
hey guys im prepairing to step notch my truck , whats the best way to move my bed up to clear. the wood is old and would like to save it . pics would be appreciated thanks

i build a frame out of angle iron and 2x2 box tube to raise the floor up bolt wood down just like factory

I saw "best way to raise my wood" and got scared lol.
Like stated above, if you use some square tube to make spacers/risers. Then you can use angle to re-make the lip that the wood bolts into. Its actually pretty straight forward to do it that way. Heres a link to a similar discussion http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=520451
