Jacquesdean And His Load From Memphis
Jacquesdean (Jock) left Memphis about an hour ago with a load of goodies
In the trailer is all the V.W. Bug/Ghia/Bus parts, including: 100's of pieces of original glass 20 Doors (very nice shape) Boxes of interior, wiring harnesses, lights, lenzes, bezels, emblems, chrome, etc, etc. 1 80-89 Rabbit convertable frame Here is the unbelievable part. We loaded a 71 Chevy Truck A/C Cab on the back of his truck!! No kidding!!! The two of us humped (using only our backs) the cab, up and on the back of his truck. Thank God for BC Powder We backed up to it, proceeded to to get one on each side, and lifted the cab off the ground, and got it set up on the edge of the truck bed. Then we went to the back side, and pushed it up and on the truck. We had to rock it back and forth because it would not slide on the wood bed. We climbed up on the bed and positioned the cab where we wanted it, once it was on the truck good enough. Jock is a graet guy to deal with. He has a powder blasting shop in north Alabama, and delivers good clean sheet metal, cabs, beds for our trucks in the mid-west and Ontario Canada. Now I guess he now has become the boards resident V.W. part guru Last edited by dtlilly; 09-25-2003 at 05:49 PM. |

Glad to hear that about him. I have comunicated with him through PM's and he mentioned that he comes to ontario ( toronto) often. I live about 5 hours from T.O.
He may be my link to southern parts for my truck I have been looking for at good prices and reasonable shipping ( since he drives it up himself, hehe).

Compared to me and my skinny little arms, it looks like Jock could lift a whole truck up!

I guess he made it home fine, since he already PM'ed me about some questions I had for him.
