favorite billet rest-mod wheel
can you guys post pics up of your favoirite resto-mod wheel they will be deep lip in the rear and shallow up front. let me know what you guys would use in a 22". Thank you...they will be color matched with a flat gold too. the truck is a daily driven show truck that is 50th color combo gold/white trim and all. the bed is wood but opens to show off the back half suspension. which is satin black and soon to have gold and white intergrated. please help as this is one of the hardest choices Ive had to make, I would like to go 12" wid in the rear but understand that some only do up to 10"wide.

Re: favorite billet rest-mod wheel
You stated that you would do a custom wheel. That may be your only option as there may not be any cast wheels that come in a 22x12. You may have to do a 2 or 3 piece wheel. Maybe Billet Specialties, Budniks, Intros, etc. I have 948R, 22x12 rear, 3-piece wheels made by HRE. I wanted to do a 22x13, but wouldn't be able to find a tire to fit it in a 22". The pic I posted is of the front rim, the 22x10. It was the closest box on top.

Re: favorite billet rest-mod wheel
those wheels are money literally...lol im in the automotive industry and did a cayanne turbo with these....very nice....and there hre engreave arp bolts are nice! Your right on the wheel choice, I am in no way looking for any one piece wheel...customer 2 piece, forged, even custom centers to be hooped. but i dont want to copy others but have that right restomod wheel....i like the 60's styles and have a few in mind but I would love to know what the country thinks is a great choice...money is not the concern concidering what I have in the chassis alone, sky is the limit...and it will be a driven truck with a Texas Speed LQ9 and a TVS charger.

Re: favorite billet rest-mod wheel
yeah I actaully hava a staggared set of AGIO forged Thirteens but after mock up they just didnt look right...you will love your motor......DO THE CHARGER.... come on you have over 6k tied up in wheels alone what another few g's for the charger, plus you cant have HRE unless you have some bad a** brakes and a bad a** motor to go with. also if you ever need any replacement bolts for those let me know I have a complete set from an old set of HRE's I had but when I had the re-hooped I took the bolts.

Re: favorite billet rest-mod wheel
For some reason I like the raceline burst 5. Says you can get it up to 15" wide. I don't really like the full polished one, but with some color contrast they look good. here is a link http://www.azproperformance.com/Race...s-Burst-5.html and the pricing doesn't look too bad.
