tire pressure?

Hi guys If you have an 89 4X4 with LT225 75 R 16" tires Load range 'D', could you look at you vehichle sticker located on the inside of your drivers door and tell me what the vehicle manufactuer recommends the front tires be inflated to? I really would appreciate this. I am missing my sticker and I don't like driving around with the tires at Max. pressure that you find off of the tire itself. The owners manual gives pressure for different loads and load ranges of the tire which has left me still not certain. So once again if you got the same year and 4X4 truck relay the sticker info to me please!

Thanks again Truck!

personal preference

You know your gonna hafta come to a happy medium on tire pressure. If you were a Ford owner of an Explorer you would be filing a lawsuit due to tires blowing out. They were recommended on the door sticker to only have 28 PSI which I believe caused the tires to blow. That is too low for a SUV carring 5 people.

I would use the owners manual and the load ranges and come to a middle ground when your running empty. If you run with full pressure you will have bald tires right down the center.
