Re: 1972 Sierra Grande bucket seats, console, door panels, woodgrain glovebox.

Thanks Sharp - Put me in line and if you have another correct OEM fender mounted camper antenna I'd be interested. My K20 is in the body shop now having sheet metal mocked up so need to grab one soon if I'm going this route. May also take a camper harness if better than the one I have. Pete

Hi Pete, I probably wasn't very clear. The antenna is available and I have two camper harness setups. I'll post pics of the wiring as soon as they are pulled. Are you looking for a pair of antennas or just the single? Thanks, Sharpie

Hi Josh, no problem. PO is retired and wants to pull the motor himself. Might be awhile before he gets the job done and I'm able to pick the truck up. Have your other parts arrived? Thanks, Sharpie

Either one good solid antenna or both if that's what it takes to assemble a good one from the parts. How much for the package deal and is the other in good shape? No rush on the harness. May also need an arrow straight radio delete cowl....

No rush as always, I'm guessing the parts are hung up at the border like everything else I order from here... I'll let you know when they arrive.

This is the only fender mount antenna I have. The mount would need rechromed to be really nice. I do have the antenna delete cowl from this truck and it's very nice, in original paint. Thanks, Sharpie

Def interested in the OEM antenna w cowl and rechrome is no big deal. If I do this I want to do it right - any chance to get pics of the factory hole and/or measurements to locate where on the fender the hole goes? Sorry, not trying to make this a painful transaction Pete

Hi Pete, no problem. Post #14 shows the antenna mounted from a distance. PO kept the doors and fenders for another project. I'll see if I can get a closeup of the fender hole for you before he welds it up. Thanks, Sharpie

How much then for the antenna and radio delete cowl shipped then? I'll check assembly manual for a schematic on the fender mount - If I can find this great. If not, could really use a pic with measuring tape from a fixed reference. Thanks!

Re: 1972 Sierra Grande bucket seats, console, door panels, woodgrain glovebox.

I'm guessing as the SPID lacks mention of a radio and the lack of a schematic in the assembly manual that this antennae was a dealer installed accessory on a radio delete truck. For my build I'm going with correct factory options so will pass - sorry for the hassle: this was the first such antenna I've seen and it looks cool so I jumped on it.

Still interested in a camper wire harness.

Thanks Sharpie. Pete

Hi Pete, I guess the camper trucks were kind of odd balls. I would agree that the dealer might have been the one to install the fender mount antenna. Thanks, Sharpie
