Adding 1/2" pick up tube and return line?

I'll be changing a gas tank soon. It will be the same incab tank. I need to run 1/2" lines and return line also. Did any of 67-72 trucks came with a return line? I want to see some pics of that? Did anyone change 3/8 to 1/2 line for pick up tube? Thanks

I dont think there was a 1/2", either 5/16" or 3/8". I suppose you could weld/braze one into the factory sending unit or just install a 1/2" pick-up on the bottom of tank and use the factory line for a return. You must be making some seroius power to need 1/2" lines.
