Re: brake and turn lights

Maybe your trucks telling you something...."Don't sell me or you're going to regret it!" lol

When my brake lights didnt work but tail lights did, it was a brake switch issue. Don't know if that's the case with yours???

Re: brake and turn lights

It is a small white spark plug lookin switch that connects to ur brake peddle, easy to see and easy to replace, just unplug, spin out and replace, and yeah the truck may say no but buddy wants to trade me his 94 gmc Yukon that's already lifted on 20" rims and tuned to race, mines never seen snow and I kinda need something that i can drive and will power threw the snow

Re: brake and turn lights

Ok so yup the switch was broken, it looked fine but was pooched, quick trip to the bone yard with deep pockets fixed my problem then just had to bump my bulbs a little bit to get a god connection and BAM turn signals and brake lights work again

Free.99 lol it's small enough to sneak out, it's about the size of a spark plug

Re: brake and turn lights

No way to tell unless it's cracked or the connectors or broken, just go get one or two and unplug yours and hook a new one up before u screw it all together and see if ur lights come on

Re: brake and turn lights

Maybe you have the answer to my problem. Right signals work, left signals don't work and brake lights stay activated when head lights are on

Yeah. That's what everyone else is saying. I only found two grounds up front maybe I have to take it out the loom and check the entire wire. Thanks

Re: brake and turn lights

I had a big problem with my lights before checked every wire from my headlights to tail lights before I found my problem, found a lot of hacked in wires that went no where tucked in tight spots.sometimes its best to look at all your wires because u never know what's causeing a problem or what could cause a future one
