Z bar - mount @ engine
i'm trying to figure out if where to find the rubber piece that goes on the Zbar engine mount - mine was Half gone and I imagine you need that to keep the grease in. I also might have lost the nut and extra piece need to mount it to the frame. Any pictures would be great.

It's a big felt washer on the engine ball stud.
You can get all those parts from just about any of the vendors.

so is yours ... 2wd, 4wd, big block, small block, inline 6, year??, There seems to be atleast 2 different versions from what I have seen not to mention "custom" ones.

Its a 2wd V8 1/2 ton. Going to stop by the chevy dealer, last time I had a question no one had any clue about stuff this old.

Here is a picture of the mechanism.
The stealer may be able to cross reference a lot of these parts from newer years, since the same design was the same more or less for quite a few years. I know I have purchased some of these parts myself from LMC, so just go onto their website and order a catalog at www.lmctruck.com/chevrolet or go to the vendor side of this forum at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=195

Ok I tried the steal, yeah Just what i thought. They couldn't help me they only go back to 87 !!
What am I looking engine pivot ball is it an o-ring and a fat washer ? |

You might try one of those battery terminal anti-corrosion felt washers. They're red and green, not gray, but are about the same size.

How about this kit?
http://www.classicchevroletpartsonli...pu10flx&from=2 On the stealership, they have the ability to look that stuff up just maybe not the will to do so. I went to my dealership earlier this year to look up some bolts and although they were no longer available they told me the correct size,thread etc. Even showed me a diagram on the computer screen to verify which hardware I was looking for. I told them it was for a 1975 truck and they didn't have any problems. Frustrating though some dealers will go above and beyond to help and others just look at you like you are crazy.
