Whats breaking my rad support?

I have a 71 C-30 that the rad support keeps breaking on. It breaks on all 4 corners of the opening for the radiator. Its not been in any major wrecks that I know of( not in the last 22 yrs at least),no noticable vibrations, rides and drives great. Has anyone seen or heard of a truck doing this? This will be the third rad support for this truck plus several weld jobs. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Re: Whats breaking my rad support?

What condition are the body (and radiator support) mounts in? Also, are you sure you have the correct ones? The C30 uses different mounts then the C10 and C20.

You can try jacking up one corner of the frame and see what and where it flexes....

rad support mounts were in good shape, cab mounts not as good. Got new ones ordered for both.

Re: Whats breaking my rad support?

I pulled my rad saddle out of a 68' c30 and it is also cracked in the corners of the rad opening.
