window felt
HI Guys
Has anyone replaced the window felt on the wing window? Is there a trick to it. I tried squeezeing it together with a pair of vice gripes and pulling it seems like the whole track whats to pull out (the metal around the felt) I don't want to force it and ruin something. Is it glued in? Thanks Buz48 |

Re: window felt
I have seen some that were glued in. I use a bent screw driver to assisit in getting the liner out.

Re: window felt
That's the rub isn't it. Hard to get the rubbers in the frame. Welcome to the vent window refurb club. It will go in, just be patient. The vent window rubber is not glued in. If you really mean the divider bar felt, it can be glued in. The vent window rubber is just squeezed into the frame.
