newbie with rocker panel issues
Hey all, im in the middle of trying to replace the rocker panels on my 1971 c10, so far i have removed the old rocker from the driver side, ground off all surface rust from inner rocker and primed and painted inner rocker panel, i then started fitting up the new rocker panel bought from LMC truck, this is where im running into problems, this stupid replacement rocker SUCKS! all the radii are too big and the bends arnt quite 90 degrees on any of the bends im having a horrible time getting it to fit not to metion the the fact the door wont even think about functioning with this hunk of crap! I NEED HELP!! oh btw im new to this site i been working on this truck for about 4 months heres a few pics (day one and some things ive done since then)

Some pics of the rocker set in place would help but I would say make sure you have the right one. Make sure it's the correct side and year! I've heard lots of bad things about LMC so wouldn't be surprised if it's not right.
I've replaced 3 sets of rockers so far on these trucks and never had a problem with them.

Most people I have seen on here have had to fight the aftermarket replacement panels including me. I think there are atleast 3 brands out there LMC, Tri-plus/Key parts, And Tabco. I am using Tri-Plus which most resto companies sell and my rocker fits the best out of all the other parts but still needed a little persuasion. I bought a rear pillar from LMC and it was terrible so I repaired my existing part. Let's see a pic of what you are dealing with.
