Speedometer Off
I had seen a thread on this forum that had a formula to calculate which speedometer gear for a Turbo 350 and where to purchase. I am running 275/65/15 tires, 307 12 bolt rear and my speedometer is off about 18-20 MPH.

Re: Speedometer Off
Instead of looking for and changing the drive or the driven gear I've used an adaptor on several of mine that where off. They come in various ratios.
Here's a link to one on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-AC-DELCO...e46614&vxp=mtr |

The gear was ok. And I cant remember if it was a 18 Tooth. You can buy them from 18 to 23 Tooth... I also had to replace the seal that goes inside the Speedometer Gear Housing as well. Replaced the rear main seal to. My truck is 8mph off according to the GPS. No big deal to me since I don't drive it much. I may change the Speedo Gear later, but now I cant remember what # of teeth I need to get now. The guy at the Chevrolet dealership told me. Should of wrote it down.
