Jeff I wish you the best of luck with getting your hearing straightened out. You played an invaluable role in helping me get my truck running again (fuel cell install ideas) and it is still very much appreciated. I don't see a reason to sign off though, you can still hang around here and help us fellas out. Let me/us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Jeff,
Hope everything with your hearing eventually gets worked out.

Like many of the others felt, for many reasons, having you "sign off" will be a great loss.

May your absence, if at all, be a short one.

Jeff:

I share the previous posters' sentiments, and that I, like them, will be thinking of you during this "hiatus". I am truly going to miss you, and look forward, already, to when you return! I am hoping that will be soon, but I certainly can appreciate your need for a break.

I, like you, know what it is like to have a chronic condition, so, at least in some ways, I think I can empathize with what you are going though. I also know that a positive attitude can make a big difference, so you are already ahead in this particular life trial. I say that with confidence, because your posts on this board and your personal correspondence with me reveal the character of a truly positive and enthusiastic person. I admire that quality in you, and that admiration long preceded this announcement of your physical challenges.

As others have said, if you need to vent, we are here for you. And please know that if you would like to communicate one-on-one with somebody, I hope you might include me as someone on your list of confidants!

Hang in there, my friend. I will be thinking good thoughts for you, tomorrow and in the days to come!

Good luck......I hope everything turns out. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Working around loud equipment all day I have recently discovered how important hearing protection is. Since my ears have started a loud ringing. Mostly noticed when its real quite. Since most of the work that is done on our tucks makes alot of noise. PLEASE use hearing protection.

Here's prayers coming from North of the border as well. It sounds like you have a good perspective on things and your positive attitude will help you out as well.

Keep faith and God Bless,
