That's a good looking truck! I just bought my 70 shortbed steppie on Friday myself. Good luck with the build. I've been on here for 4 days and already these guys are very helpful and supportive.

Lots of good advice here. Do what you want , but my 68 wasn't (isn't) as clean as yours , got it running /driving safely , glad I didn't tear it down. Making plans for small projects , but keeping it driveable. The 10 year projects seam to be sold incomplete more than finished. Good luck
