Cargo/barn door handle
My cargo door handle broke, and according to GMCPauls they are not reproduced. I understand you can use a regular door handle if you lengthen the plunger. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can do this without having access to a welder?

You should be able to epoxy an extension on the plunger by using a sleeve that will slide over the two pieces. A piece of steel brake line or fuel line might work. Just be sure and rough the pieces up good with sandpaper and clean them inside and out with lacquer thinner or carb cleaner. LockDoc
