Re: 74 chevy wiring issues?

okay guys i need some help
i decided i was gonna work on my wiring today and i got alot of cut wires
spliced wires
unconnected wires that its crazy lol
its a 1974 chevy custom deluxe short bed with a 350 v8

okay here we go:
(i have the questions in the pics to)

In the first pic theres a yellow wire coming from the distributor, but then it gets spliced into a green wire that is coming out of a hole in my fire wall its the 8th picture?
that dosent seem right to me?

In the second picture what is that little weird connector?

In the third picture what are those two wires for the brown ones that were spliced with the yellow wire
The top brown spliced wire goes to a connector in pic 9 or 10 that's not connected
the other spliced wire follows the rest of the wires(you can see it in the distributor picture) But what do the both do?

In the fourth picture that yellow wire goes to my horn but i don't think that's right?

In the fifth picture that shoes that yellow wire that comes from the pack, but spliced into a black wire, then spliced into a green wire that goes to my horn?

In the sixth picture it shows that green wire that connects to the horn, anybody have a picture of their horn wire connector so i can know how it looks

In the seventh picture dont worry about that one

In the eight picture That wire goes connected to the distributor, but i font think that's right, because its green and then gets spliced into the yellow wire in the distributor

In the ninth picture theres two wires that go to the temperature sending unit(i think thats what it is called on the side of the engine) and one of them is disconnected, how does that one wire go?, how do i fix it? whats its purpose?
because every picture i seen to find only has one wire going to that unit?

In the tenth picture what is that connection for?

Thanks for any help
im just some kid trying to learn from the best
