Rebuilt manual steering box
Well I accidentally had my manual steering box out of my 69 rebuilt awhile back. The manual box got sent in to Red Hat instead of the power box, and if I remember correctly it was around 200 bux give or take.
Anyway its been staring at me in my garage for too long. Bugs me to look at it LOL. So if anyone wants a rebuilt by Red Hat manual steering box I will send it anywhere in the lower 48 for $100.00 shipped via USPS. Sorry, no shipping anywhere else =(

Re: Rebuilt manual steering box
I can take a pic. I have no idea on interchangeability. All I know is its a manual steering box out of a 69, maybe ask over on the main board and I'll get the pic loaded...DJ you will be first in line, Late68 second.
Ok, here are a couple of pics...Hmm, well I thought I had taken two different angles lol, I still think it pretty much shows what it is.

Re: Rebuilt manual steering box
I went on rockauto site to see what year boxes can interchange and sadly the 69 won't work for me.

Re: Rebuilt manual steering box
Ok, I sent him a PM. I will let you know ... thanks. Well I checked to see when I sent him a PM and it didn't show one in my sent file. I sent him off another one and it seemed to go out fine. I checked it again about half hour or so later and it doesn't show the PM in my sent file. So please bear with me while I figure this problem.

Re: Rebuilt manual steering box
Dave, I just got home from work and the check was in the box. I have the steering box already to ship, I will stop by the PO tomorrow and get it sent out. Please let me know when it arrives.
Thanks again! It will be nice to see it get used for what it was intended, instead of a very expensive door stopper Mark
