LS1 Swap Fuel Setup
Looking for some more info and ideas on the LS1 fuel tank and fuel line swaps.
Not sure if I want to go with an external pump and fuel cell? Does anyone have any suggestions? |

In my opinion, the in tank pump is the way to go. It is quieter, and out of the way. What engine/trans package are you going to use. We NEED pics.

Re: LS1 Swap Fuel Setup
i run a fuel cell and external pump. I like running an external pump for serviceability, and it made it easier to switch to a larger pump or dual pumps if/when my setup needs more fuel.
if you have an existing fuel cell (as i did when i bought my truck), its easier to convert to an external pump, since you don't have to modify the tank for the intank pump setup.

- depends on your current set-up verses if you are going to rebuild it. I went with in-tank pumps b/c I wanted quiet operation and I wanted to keep them cool, but I had it all apart at the time and had the option of going either way....but I also wanted to keep dual tanks for long drives which I'm going to do lots of in this truck.

Re: LS1 Swap Fuel Setup
im running a camaro tank with a truck pump. only caus the camaro pump was broke. the truck pump is clocked different so the fuel sender float hits the inside of the tank so my gauge only reads up to 3/4 but it still tells me when its empty so o well. it fits inside of the frame on a 68 though
