95 S10 engine swap?
so a friend of mine has a neighbor with a 95 s10 that has a blown motor. It is pretty clean in general and we are thinking of picking it up for about scrap value. The original motor is a 2.2 but those seem a little harder to find then a v6 and frankly we would rather have a larger motor. What is involved in swapping to a larger motor? It is a short bed reg cab. In good running condition what would it be worth? Sorry but no pics yet. I am usually hanging around in the 67-72 forum but thought this would be a good place for research. Thanks.

Re: 95 S10 engine swap?
Value, it can vary quite a bit 1500-3500 in good running condition as long as the rest of the truck is in good shape. would be my guess. Those lil 2.2 are pretty good motors. If it were me I'd check into seeing what caused the motor to fail and fix/rebuild it. If its rebuild-able or just pull and drop in a 350, or LS motor.
