To the west of Dallas is Arlington Stadium. The stadium is nice, but not too impressive. They do have an awesome swap meet there twice a year though. The last one was a few weeks ago. You might try to catch the next one....

If you need some sheetmetal this is the place to come. Most rust free compared to up there and alot of trucks here. There's a ton of junkyards between Ft. Worth and Dallas. Let us know what you're hunting and maybe someone will know where to go for the most abundance.

About 350 miles to the east( make that west) you will find Lubbock. There you will find Texas Tech and our other attraction, Prarrie dog town. About 200,000 people are bored here on a regular basis.
