Fuel tank install ????

I was so pumped this morning as I was finally going to put the bed on my truck, only to be quickly let deflated. I bought this truck with what I believe was a Blazer tank already installed, but with no truck bed. I am now attempting to install the bed and the rear most bed rail is hitting the tank. I know that the Blazer tank install is a very common upgrade, but I have searched and can't find where anyone else has had a problem with the bed hitting the tank.
Am I missing something? Is there some modification that people are making to the bed for the tank to fit? Any help with this problem would be great.

Either notch the rail like above, or lower the tank a little, just make sure its not to low that it will bottom out. When I did my blazer tank I didn't notch the rail and my tank didn't hang down all that low, but my truck was stock height and I didn't take it offroad or anywhere I would worry about bottoming out.

Re: Fuel tank install ????

If you have a blazer tank with the outlet on the side you will have to notch the rail. If it is a top outlet you can lower the tank. I did mine in like 15 minutes with a sawall. Not hard at all.
