Brake Question

My friend (without internet) has a 69 GMC 2wd leaf spring rear, With drums up front. He bought a 72 Chevy Cheyenne 2wd parts truck with discs up front. . Question is what all can be used to convert the 69 to disc. Just swap spindles? Or change the whole a arm assembly over? Thanks.

Re: Brake Question

I was thinking since he was going to rebuilt front end anyways it would be easiest to just swap everything over. A arms, spindles etc. what about the master cylinder? I guess he should use it too.
Thanks for the help and any other suggestions.

Re: Brake Question

the entire front crossmember will convert over to the 69 with drilling like two holes if im not mistaken. lowlife99 has a great right up on this conversion. but yes the whole front crossmember a-arms and all with mover over and as for the master cylinder i believe you would need the conversion bracket from captain fab or a year specific master from cpp or ece. hopefully this helps and hopefully i didnt miss inform you... someone back me up or tell me im dumb
