Jeff-
Yeller is looking awsome. Makes me want to dig into a new project. BTW, where did you get your body parts stripped and what paintshop did you go to?

Thanks again everyone for the kind words, really makes it all worth it.

Ken, thanks for the Brown Bread info...I just ordered 70 sq ft...should be enough to cover the ENTIRE cab.

I hope to get it next week and have it installed by the end of next weekend. I am also going to take some pics along the way and maybe even write up a little "how-to" on it.

Blue82Chev...I am having it painted by a guy out in Wyoming MN...he does this on the side..and I am happy with his work. The cab was stripped at a place in Mpls called Marko Sandblasting I believe.

Jeff, good choice on the Brown Bread. It's easy to work with, from all indications same as Dynomat. I put 2 layers on the firewall, and will put a single layer in the rest of the truck and bed.

Great looking restoration you have going there. Good luck getting closer to finishing. It seems the work gets to the point that you don't notice the painless hours put into detailing it out, from here to the finish line.

You know what they say, the devil is in the details. Have fun with it!

Have any of you tried Peel & Seal? I have not, but it is supposed to be exactly like dynamat, but cheaper. It is used for mobile home roofing.

Supposedly it is available at Lowes, Home Depot, and such.

Sloanaker, I think you are right. These types of foil surfaced asphaltic rolls with adhesive should all be pretty much the same. There is another product used in the Industrial Air Conditioning business that is used to insulate outside HVAC duct. It insulates and seals duct joints. I'm pretty sure it's a similar product, but I havn't found the product data sheets on it yet.

Sorry Jeff to Hijack your thread. Can you post another pic or two to get us re-focused on your progress
