Are universal hitches safe?
I haven't seen alot of reviews so I thought I'd ask y'all.
Thinking about puttin a universal/adjustable receiver on my '04 suburban. Don't plan on hauling major equipment. Maybe just a 12 footer every now and then. What's yalls take on a multi piece hitch? Thanks Posted via Mobile Device

Buy a 2" receiver hitch made for your Suburban.

Re: Are universal hitches safe?
That's probably what I'm gonna end up doing.
Son had bought it for his truck and then sold it before he could install it. Got to looking at it, and something just didn't seem right about bolting 3 or 4 pieces together then hooking a trailer to it. Saw a couple of one pieces that were made here...his wasn't it.
