72 rear leaf springs

I need some pointers on how to change the bushings?
Are there bushings in the shackles hanger and spring attach points?
Will I need all new hardware?
How do I remove them?
Any information would help Thanks Alex

Re: 72 rear leaf springs

Alex your going to need a air chisel, a hydraulic press, or a torch to get the old bushing out. They will be sized inside the spring and it will take a lot of force to remove them. I have had luck pressing the new ones in by freezing them first, then lubing them before using a BFH to beat them in, but a press works better.
