Question Moving Auto shifter from floor to Column

How do I do it? My 1970 truck was originally a 3 on the tree manual that he converted many years ago to an automatic shifter (from a pinto) in the floor. I want to move the shifter up to the steering column. I am assuming I will need a new automatic steering column, but what else will be needed for the conversion? Thanks!

It helped but that was a list of things to go from manual to automatic. I already have an automatic floor shift I just want to move it to the column so I am asking about those things specifically.

Just go to the junkyard and remove all the part's off a doner truck. Should not be a problem.

Oops...I guess I read it wrong....my apologies....you'll need a auto column, the shift linkage for a TH350 or you could buy a Lokar kit

Re: Moving Auto shifter from floor to Column

watch the parts forum for guys parting trucks with auto....I believe the linkage from a TH400 will work too....should be an inexpensive swap, but I may have just jinxed you by saying that
