The oem '69 grilles do not have the raised areas.

All NOS 69-70 grilles I have ever seen,... are actually '70 grilles, painted in '69 colors.
I've never seen a recent (1990 or newer) NOS '70 grille painted the correct '70 colors.
(black with the raised ares highlighted in silver)

I agree.

In addition, I believe all the OEM 1969 grilles as installed on the trucks at the factory had the flat horizontal portions below the eggcrate sections that contact the center outer grille bar and bottom grille bar painted silver. I've seen several original trucks in the last couple years that seem to verify this. All OEM/NOS grilles I've seen since the 1970 revision have been the 1970 style.

That said, I don't doubt that these are NOS as produced by GM after 1970 and are a great deal.

Keith, I agree. What I was referring to was only the service part version.
