when to notch?
Would a C notch be needed on a 64 when going with a 5" rear drop? I have new 4" cpp springs and was thinking of adding another 1" block to it. but may stick with 4" drop for now

Re: when to notch?
OK so how about a 4 inch spring with 1 inch block....would i need a notch? I have decided to keep this one static dropped and nothing radical as far as drop goes. I am just looking for this 64 to be a capable daily driver type. I have my 95 ext cab to "lay out" when that urge hits haha

Re: when to notch?
No you don't need to notch with a 5 inch drop. 6 inch yes.

Re: when to notch?
I added a notch and had 5 inch rear springs and 2 inch blocks and still had plenty of room. You should be ok. I just installed rear air bags today so notch works well now.
