I read it somewhere and now can't find it.
my 68 has a one piece shaft from the steering wheel to the sector, i got a tilt collum from a motorhome and ready to install it and there is a part that goe's from the collum to the sector that i think is from a jeep or something. anybody know where i can find it or what its from? Thanks

Re: Tilt collum in a early 68 c10
You will need a intermediate shaft from a 69 or newer truck. Your motor home tilt may or may not be the right length. If not here is a thread with the whole nine yards to shorten column, intermediate shaft and mount n/s switch.

Re: Tilt collum in a early 68 c10
The motor home tilts that I have and have seen are closer to being more correct for the trucks than the van column. I have a couple and they are so very close to the "real" tilts from these trucks. And the above is correct ,you need a intermediate shaft from a 69-72 truck
