Hotchkis anti roll bar?
Does anyone have experience with a hotchkis antil roll bar? The one I'm looking at is part number tchkis #515-22390R. What I don't understand is why would you connect the rod end to the trailing arm? Wouldn't it be smarter to connect the roll bar to the frame and then from the frame to the axle tubes?

The way you think it should be is correct. I have never heard of doing it the other way. I would think theirs would be too expensive anyway. Everything else they have is!

Re: Hotchkis anti roll bar?
I just looked at their instructions: http://static.summitracing.com/globa...hss-22390r.pdf
Couple things I don't like about it: It is only 3/4" Mounted too far forward, and the leverage ratio will have a bigger affect on the torsion of the bar. I see this working about as good as a stock one. Mind you, when I did my cheap home built one, it was in the factory location mounted to the control arms in front of the springs and the rod ends tied in to the frame, but it was made of 1 1/2" .180 wall CM tubing. It was noticeably better than the stocker at the track. For over $400, I would pass. For a less money but a bit more work, this is what we put in mine when we did the back half. http://www.rjracecars.com/RJ-Pro-Ser...-Prodview.html Posted via Mobile Device
