Which type of carb to buy?

Hey guys I want some help with carbs
my carb is acting up i have already rebuilt it and it
still is acting up
im completely new with choosing carbs
I was looking at getting a elderbrock carb 650
i have a elderbrock performer 2101 intake
it has a qjet carb on it 4 barrel
my engine is a 350
Im thinking of ordering it from autozone
my carb and intake

After looking for little bit i found this

So im guessing it will work?
what else am i gonna have to get?
bolts, studs, gaskets, linkage?

Edelbrock carb will bolt right on, need bolts as GM carb has 2long 2 short bolts and a stud for the throttle cable end to go thru. Also fuel line is at the rear pass side so extend fuel line, add a small filter in line with some rubber fuel hose.

Im looking thru all the post on google
and they keep popping up with a square port to spread bore adapter
And air cleaner spacers
Is their any type of bolts that i ask for? will they come with the new carb?

I am sure the 2101 intake just bolts up to the Edl carb and the bolts if I remember right are 5/16 bolts about 1.5" long just enough to go thru carb base and into intake a bit also the spacer for the air cleaner depends on the air cleaner base, I usually do install a 1" plastic air cleaner spacer I keep them on my shelf.

Just get a carb stud kit, they are in vacuum packs from companies like Mr. Gasket and most parts stores carry them.

The thing about an air cleaner spacer is a high percentage of aftermarket air cleaner assemblies have a recessed base and the Eddy choke assembly and fuel line interfer with them, I hav ehad success flipping the base and using a long carb stud to use the recessed style, the lid will hold the filter centered, the problem in some cases is hood clarence but I cant image it would be an issue on a truck. Close the hood slowly to to make sure, if you just slam it you will find out the hard way and have a reminder dent in the middle of your hood. The other option is to purchase an assembly with no recess, most factory assemblies are zero recess as well so you could run one of those, if you already have one you like just flip the base and get a longer stud.
