Re: wtb

I'm confusing myself a little bit here... I have the taillight harness still plugged in to the firewall that goes down the frame to the rear and I have the fuse block and interior harness (which has a plug that plugs into the tail light harness). I beleive I trashed the engine harness that actually attaches to the fuse block from the engine side. Sooo are you needing the plug that goes to the tail light harness? or the one that is mounted in the firewall? or am I just confused here. My truck was a 283/3ott when I got it. anyway here is a pic of the plug in the firewall for the rear lights.

Re: wtb

Have that one,, that goes to the tail lights. There is a harness that comes off the engine harness, by the starter feed, that plugs into a harness that goes to a manual transmission. when you shift into reverse, it sends the signal to this location

Re: wtb

Okay that part went in the trash long ago with the engine harness that was rotted and spliced up. I bet Randy "Teeitup" would be able to help you out he has a thread or more parting trucks all the time. nice guy and good service, check with him.

Re: wtb

Do you have a pic of the connector, or one like it? I switched to an automatic about 4 years ago and I still have all the manual trans stuff, but I am not sure what the connector
looks like.

Re: wtb

The connector looks almost like the parking lights on 67/68 but at right angles to one another, and is male,.....comes from the trans sensor for the backup lights

Re: wtb

I looked through my stuff and I must have thrown it away. I think it was part of the TCS harness and I did away with that a long time ago. Good luck with your search, someone
will pop up with one.
