I moved the pins(wires)in the cluster plug
changed engine sensors
it was idiots before
power comes from the pink power wire
neg from ground block @ ebrake
(which is not stock)
when stock the tach has it's own harness,
I've been told it goes threw the firewall
as white, black and a thick brown
only my signal(brown) goes under hood

if you go in that far
1. add a better cluster ground
2.you can totally remove the seat belt buzzer/wires/clip

Re: Dash lights?

i got it from APC like 6 yr ago. You can go to this place http://www.whitegauges.net/pages/White-Face-Gauges.html, they make white gauges that go one really easy. you can even change your heater. they even make different color face from blue to red. they start at 19.99 add color for 30$ more.

That doesnt seem too bad i should look into getting it switched. Do you know where i could buy a rpm gauge like that?

Re: Dash lights?

Back to 168/194 to LED conversion. I did some current consumption measurements:

Supply voltage 13.8 Vdc
GE 168 350mA (4.83Watts)
WLED-x5 20 mA (0.276Watts)

I ordered and received 10 WLED-x5 (bright white) because of one key features of these LED's --- they are non polarized! You do not have to worry which way LED or socket are plugged in. In my earlier 2009 attempt to convert from 168 to LED's I used single active LED from Ebay vendor. The end result was pitifully dull lit instrument cluster. In addition these LED's can be dimmed - the supply voltage can be varied from 8 volts (no light) up to 13.8 Vdc for full brightness.

Sorry about the photos, they are crappy and should be re-done (from my crack-Berry)
