Race demon?

Hey y'all, i have a friend who will sell me his race demon for 250$ I have an eddy 750 on my truck now, but it seems a bit sluggish and runs very lean. I also have a borrowed 850 Frankenstein dp Holley that probably(very badley) needs a rebuild. I guess my ? Is should i buy it? Is it a good deal? I have read up on it some and think most prefer the Holley for the quality. The engine is a bbc 439 9:1 compression with a healthy cam.

I sold my demon for 150 and it was a " good"one. Take a look at the QF carbs very nice for a box carb.

I have a 650 vc demon and after looking at both carbs the demon is a much better carb then your standard holley, no question. DEMON DEMON.

I bought a slightly used 750 race demon and 2 centerline skinnies for my boys car for $100. Best carb I ever had. I know plenty of ppl that hate them but this is the first one I had and I love it. I bought mine from a buddy I have been swapping parts with and working on cars with for almost 20years so I am sure I got the better then avg. price. Not sure what a used one goes for but they are damn good carbs IMO.

its a gamble some of the demons where good and others are well not so good LOL.. CHeck out racing junk they are on there all the time, or where at least..
