Fuel tank capacity
I've got a 72 C10 with the stock gas tank. When I fill up it usually takes 18-19 gallons but this morning it took 20.5 gallons and I didn't think it was quite empty. I don't know the capacity but I feel like that gas station ripped me. Does anyone know how big the stock tank is?

According to what I have from Chevrolet for a 1/2 ton it's 20 gal. For a 3/4 and a 1 ton it's 21 gal.

Thanks for the quick info! I've suspected them before. Think I'll call somebody about it.
