Junk yard part search help

This is off topic as it doesn't have anything to do with my 67 FMC longstep BUT please let it stay her..thanks

I see alot of posts from members that scrounge junk yards. Unfortunately my local yards only have late model parts. It seems as the day of the real junk yard is going away./

I am trying to locate a factory CD changer and transceiver for my 93 Audi. If you go to alot of junkyards and are willing to check for these parts I would be very grateful, and I would be willing to pay anyone that finds it.

Please email me off list if you are willing to look when you are at a junkyard

Have you tried www.junkyarddog.com? I think it has a listing of junkyards of all types, and you can do a parts search and the junkyards will E-Mail you with the found parts or your local junkyard should be able to get the part from their parts locator service if you ask them to!!

Thanks for the suggestion, I had never heard of that site before.

Out local yards don't seem to want to sell parts older than8-10years.

All they seem to want to sell islate model parts/rebuildables.

And none will let you in to look around.

Thanks again

If either of these helps, you don't even have to pay me!

http://www.scada1.com/partform.htm

http://www.ncadaonline.com/alphalist.htm

Or just come out to Sacramento and I'll show you a whole row of recyclers all together in one place.
