63 3 spd column
Does anyone know where I can carry my (3 on the tree) column to get it rebuilt in Tennessee, North AL, North MS area.
I want to find someone who has done a few. I took it to a young guy locally and he had never seen one before, so I got out of there. |

Whats the problem with the 1 you have, a shop manual should show how its assembled or if is missing a piece.

It has a broken piece in the shift jacket. I did not see it until today. It's the piece that picks up the lever that pushes it into 2nd and 3rd. It is broken on one side so it will pick up 1st and reverse. (I have it pictured attached). You can see it is missing the back half. The picture is looking down on it from the top of the fire wall.
I will need the part or if I can find a (3 on the tree) steering column for a 63-66 that is for sale. If you know of anyone my number is (423) 619-1149 Jay |
