Split stock in-cab tank, allows switching between two fuels

All,

I did run a split stock tank, fill on both sides. Valves underneath, allowing switching between the two. This allowed me to run two different octane fuels. Here's a link to pics of it: See aug 3rd, 2007 post on page 5.

Long story short. I made some changes to the truck, and I needed a bypass system with return line. Since the double tank setup would require 4 valves, etc etc, I chose to swap a single tank back in.

It seems a shame to scrap the tanks. If someone wants the tank [tanks], come get it. I'm going to keep the valves, fittings etc, but you can have the tanks for free. I'll give you the hose for pass side, but you'll need the snout from an old tank for your pass side. Dumb, probably, but I put a pass side fill snout in the new single tank. I didn't feel like welding the hole up in the pass side of the cab. I'm going to keep the sending unit too. It doesn't do anything but allow the gauge to work, since the tank has down tubes in the top, btw.

Note, tanks are coated with por-15's stuff, it looks like the day I poured it. Outside paint is lacquer, still nice.

No, I will not ship.

I'm in Frostburg MD, 21532.

E-mail is better. Although I've been a member here for a long time, I don't visit that often.
