No power

Hey guys I just put a new Holley truck avenger carb on my truck along with hooker full length headers and some spintech mufflers. The problem is that from a stop it has no power what so ever. If I'm already moving it pulls pretty hard. What can I do to fix the power at take off? I just feel like a snail could beat me off the line. It'd be nice to be able to spin the tires a bit. But that ain't happening now. Help sure would be appreciated.

Re: No power

Is it getting enough fuel on takeoff? could be a kink or bend in the line.

Re: No power

Yeah that was the first thing I check. It's got a metal fuel line up to about a foot of the carb which then goes into a rubber hose. No kinks anywhere that I can find.

Re: No power

How about the filters? could they be starting to clog?

Re: No power

When we put the new carb on a new filter went on as well. Only been on there a few days. So I doubt it's that

Re: No power

only other thing i can think of is an overly rich condition or faulty accelerator pump.

Re: No power

So would I just need to adjust the carb to fix this?
