Decode VIN on 1980 Chevy truck

Can anybody decode a vin # for my 1980 Chevy truck.
CKM24AJ128189 it doesnt show up on carfax. Maybe its too old?

Sure:

C = Chevy
K = 4wd
M = 350/4 bbl
2 = 20 series 3/4 ton
4 = Pickup
A = 1980 model year
J = Janesville assy plant
128189 = sequential production (ie, serial) number

1981 is when they rolled out the "standard" vin format. Before that, there was no rhyme or reason, so carfax won't recognize it because it's not the standard format.
