finally got a perfect parts truck

Its an 80' c10 lwb with brand new brakes all the way around, new m/c, shocks, new 10 bolt thats been fully serviced, and its got factory five lug rallys, time to swap everything over, I have one question, I have a 3/4 drop kit with sway bars and new shocks from brothers truck parts for a 64 suspension, I am wondering if the springs up front will fit the 1980 a arms?

That truck will make an excellent donor! I used a '79 Suburban, and I was blown away at how much stuff interchanged between the two.

Re: finally got a perfect parts truck

That is good to know! I am going to put the turbo 400 in my truck for now, I have a 350 from a 69 corvette that has been built, I have no idea what cam or anything,I was told it should make about 375hp(bought it from an auction,it was a friend of my dads that built hotrods) I need to figure out what stall converter I should run with it, I am going to put a shift kit in the TH400 also, I was thinking 2800-3200 stall but was wondering if that would be good for the street?
