Door seal to rocker panel pic request

I'm in the process of replacing my rocker panels due to rust, my new rockers don't seem to have a lip for the door gasket. I know there are supposed to be sill plates in the door openings. Does the door gasket end just under the sill plates? what seals the bottom of the door to the cab when closed? Does anyone have a good pic of this area? Am I missing something here?

Re: Door seal to rocker panel pic request

Here's some rocker/seal/step plate shots from the '65 I restored. The "C" part of the seal fits on the top edge of the rockers and is covered by the step plate. The bulb part of the seal is all that shows across the bottom. Hope these help!

Re: Door seal to rocker panel pic request

Those are great pics and it helps a lot but, does the lip that the seal goes on around the rest of the door opening continue across the top of the rocker or does the sill plate take over holding the gasket? in the pic where the carpet is folded back it almost looks like the lip continues un inteurupted sp

Re: Door seal to rocker panel pic request

There should be a lip on top of the rocker just like there is around the rest of the door frame. Full replacement rockers come with that lip on them, though partial rockets are available and I don't think they have that lip. Here's a couple pics from my '66 that shows the lip better.
